A OpenAI announced that access to its chatbot, ChatGPT, was restored in Italy. The artificial intelligence app was banned by the Italian data protection authority, also known as Garante, due to privacy concerns.
A OpenAI said it was able to resolve the issues raised and implemented additional measures such as making its privacy policy available to users before they register with ChatGPT and the inclusion of a tool to verify users' age.
Furthermore, the company, as reported in the Newsverse This week, it is already offering a new feature so that its users have the right to choose whether or not their data is used to train their AI models.
