NFT SP: Artistic exhibition takes place in the physical and virtual world simultaneously

We have already explained to you here that the purpose of the metaverse is to reduce the borders between the physical world and virtual worlds. Therefore, the idea of technology bettors is that people do as many things as possible within web3.0, even visiting an artistic exhibition. And it was with this proposal that photographers Shirley Reinis and Oliver Reinis created NFT São Paulo, an exhibition that takes place from November 24th at the Immigration Museum and which features 300 works by Brazilian artists in NFT displayed in a physical and virtual environment.

In its physical version, NFT São Paulo will be based at the Immigration Museum between the 24th and 26th of November, but for those who are already immersed in virtual environments, they will be able to check out the exhibition in the metaverse as well. NFT SP aims to attract new artists

Newsverso spoke with the organizers of the first edition of NFT SP, Oliver comments that the objective of the exhibition is to attract connoisseurs to this new market and encourage artists to enter this new world as well: “We noticed that the external public started to be interested in NFTs. So there they will be able to see the pieces physically, talk to artists, talk to the collector, talk to someone who is already in the market.”

Why display NFTs in a physical environment?

“When we only exhibit digitally, we end up only reaching an audience that is already accustomed to technology, to NFTs. But when we do an exhibition like this, we reach people who sometimes have never heard of NFTs”, adds Shirley, when asked about the objective of exhibiting arts native to the metaverse in a physical setting.

On the other hand, the couple organizing the exhibition says that the focus, in addition to drawing the attention of more and more people to the NFTs scene, is to promote events of this type on web3.0 itself. A building was constructed especially in the voxels to welcome the gallery with the productions of Brazilian artists.
