Bebe Rexha launches metaverse space "Bebeverse" in celebration of the release of her third album titled "Bebe".
In partnership with TerraZero, Warner Records developed a virtual world inspired by the 70s with a disco lobby, classic car, disco reel ring, arcade games and gamified mini-games.
Users can customize their Bebe avatars and win prizes, including signed copies of the new album. Participants can also receive personalized video messages from the singer. Songs by the singer are played throughout the experience.
The experience can be accessed on smartphones and desktops. This isn't Bebe Rexha's first metaverse effort for her fans, as in April she performed "The Mothership" to celebrate the release of her single "Satellite" featuring Snoop Dogg.
Editor's view: Space is interesting. Aesthetically pleasing and in line with the artist's proposal, but the gameplay is weak. Desktop commands are slow and confusing. Despite this, taking into account that it is an activation to draw attention to the album, and because it is still something innovative, it is possible to highlight some technical problems.
