Layoffs in Google

After announcing, in January this year, that it would lay off 12 thousand people worldwide, the Google began communicating with the Brazilian office this Friday (10), about cuts in local operations. According to Estadão, employees in the country are already being notified by email about the decision of the Google, justified by the giant as a movement to “restructure” teams. (Estadão) 🚥

Another balloon?

The United States Armed Forces shot down an unidentified object that was flying over the state of Alaska this Friday (10). According to US authorities, the action took place on the orders of the president Joe Biden. A US government spokesperson confirmed the action. (g1)

No privileged forum

The minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Cármen Lúcia, sent 5 cases against former president Jair Bolsonaro to the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region, in the Federal District.

The actions, presented by parliamentarians and civil society entities, call for an investigation of the former president for statements threatening the Judiciary and promoting an institutional rupture in the country during the celebrations of September 7th in 2021.

In the decision, the minister argues that Jair Bolsonaro was not re-elected president of the Republic and no longer holds a privileged position as he is without a mandate. Therefore, it is no longer the responsibility of the STF to judge the requests. (Agency Brazil)

Prohibited ointments

All ointments for styling and braiding hair are banned from sale by Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency), the agency announced this Friday (10).

The decision is the result of a risk assessment carried out by Anvisa and was adopted due to the increase in the number of cases of serious effects associated with the use of this type of product, such as temporary blindness, strong burning in the eyes, intense tearing, itching, redness, swelling eye and headache. CBF denies agreement with Ancelotti

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) denied this Friday (10) that it had reached an agreement with Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, currently in charge of Real Madrid, for him to lead the national team.
