Covid rating will be downgraded in Japan

In addition to suspending the recommendation to use masks indoors, the Japanese government will downgrade the covid-19 classification, according to the announcement by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, this Friday (27).

The changes, which come into effect at the beginning of May, will downgrade the disease to the same classification as the flu. Currently, it is at the same level as tuberculosis and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (Sars). (AFP)
