The results of the company, which adopted the exit from the Russian market, did not weaken after good sales during the pandemic years, thanks to the success of its franchises (Star Wars e Harry Potter, for example) and original products (Lego Friends e Lego Technic).

Sales grew by 12% in 2022, with results evident in America and Western Europe, the group said.

The Kirkbi family holding owns 75% of the company and the other 25% belongs to Lego Foundation.

Of its 770 products, the largest number ever offered for sale, almost half are new.

“We have a strong product line that appeals to builders of all ages, with a wide range of passions and skills,” said CEO of Lego, Nils Christiansen, during a presentation.

After the end of health restrictions, the Lego - whose name is a contraction of the Danish word for “play well” (“Leg godt”) – continues its strategy for opening new stores.

The group has 904 stores worldwide, 155 of which were opened during the last year.

It also reinforces the digital presence. Lego had 395 million visits on lego.com in 2022, 38% more than in 2021.

The company is currently making important investments to make your pieces more sustainable and to gradually eliminate plastic packaging.

They produce their famous toys as close to consumers as possible.

Providing employment for more than 27 thousand people, the Lego has just opened a carbon neutral factory in Vietnam. The construction adds to factories in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Mexico, China, Denmark and another under construction in the United States.
