Petrobras signed a contract for the construction of the P-83 platform, which will have the capacity to produce up to 225 thousand barrels of oil per day, starting in 2027.
This Wednesday (28), Petrobras signed an agreement with the company Kappel Shipyard Limited to build the P-83 platform, an advancement of the development project for the Búzios field, in the pre-salt Santos Basin.
The platform will have the capacity to produce up to 225 thousand barrels of oil per day, process up to 12 million m³ of gas per day and store more than 1,6 million barrels, the company informs the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
The project foresees the interconnection of 15 wells, 8 of which are oil producers and 7 injectors. The platform will be the eleventh unit to be installed in Búzios.
Petrobras has a 92,6% stake, with CNOOC and CNODC as partners, with 3,7% each.
Construction will be carried out by shipyards in Singapore, China and, of course, Brazil. The forecast for the start of production on the platform is 2027.
