Who is Waldez Góes?

  • He is from Gurupá, Pará;
  • In 1989, he joined the PDT;
  • In 1990, he was elected state deputy for Amapá;
  • In 1995, he was re-elected state deputy;
  • In 1996, he ran for mayor of Macapá, but lost;
  • In 1998, he ran for government of Amapá, but lost in the second round;
  • In 1999, he moved to Rio de Janeiro to contribute to Anthony Garotinho's government;
  • In 2002, he was elected governor of Amapá;
  • In 2006 he was re-elected to the government;
  • In 2010, he ran for senate and lost;
  • In 2014, he was elected governor for the third time;
  • In 2022, he was appointed Minister of Integration and Regional Development;
