The economist created Banco Garantia and invested in companies such as Lojas Americanas and Brahma, in addition to participating in the creation of Ambev. Lemann founded 3G Capital and purchased the fast-food chain Burger King.
Lemann's net worth is US$13,7 billion, ranking 133rd in the world.
In Brazil, second place is occupied by Marcel Hermann Telles, also a partner at 3G Capital. Havan's owner, Luciano Hang, is in tenth place in the Brazilian ranking, with assets of US$4,7 billion.
Worldwide, according to Forbes, there are 2668 billionaires – together, they are worth US$12 trillion. Elon Musk is at the top of the list, with assets of US$219 billion.
