From the start of vote counting, at 17:05 pm, it was possible to confirm the experts' assessment: the 2022 election was proving to be one of the most fierce in the country's history.

On one side, there was a Bolsonaro proposal focused on customs, weapons, agricultural production to the detriment of the environment, in addition to an anti-democratic speech against institutions such as the Federal Supreme Court and the Superior Electoral Court. On the other, agendas for the protection of minorities, combating deforestation and fires, resumption of social programs, job creation with an increase in the minimum wage and respect for Democracy.

And at the polls, democracy won. And in the land of memes, they said it all:

It was a second round marked by tensions, full of anti-democratic attacks from Bolsonarism in an attempt to postpone the elections or harm the electoral process with weak complaints: fewer insertions of the PL on the radio, a fired TSE employee creating doubts about the system, Roberto Jefferson attacking the TSE, Federal Highway Police with operations in the Northeast.

This Sunday (30), a series of complaints of actions by the Federal Highway Police – with blitzes that disrupted the movement of voters – went viral on social media. The phrase “Let the Northeast vote” came out with force on the networks. Secondly, the most used hashtag was #coup. (UOL)

The climate of tension surrounding who would be elected president of the Republic began with Lula (PT)'s upset over Jair Bolsonaro (PL) at 18:44 pm, with 67,76% of the votes counted.

In São Paulo, there were celebrations by Lula supporters in neighborhoods such as Santa Cecília and Jabaquara:

Jabaquara, South Zone of São Paulo and Santa Cecília in the West Zone of São Paulo

But Lula's victory was only confirmed at 19:50 pm. In his first tweet after his victory, Lula said little, but the image said a lot:
