Bolsonaro (PL)

During the pandemic, Bolsonaro repeatedly reiterated his opposition to the total closure of businesses, arguing that life and the economy “go hand in hand”. In a publication, he proudly said that he was the only leader to have the courage to speak openly against “the irresponsible closing of everything” in establishments.

One of the moments that generated several memes on social media was the speech of the pedestrian when asked about the decrees signed by Bolsonaro regarding access to weapons.

Ciro recalled a robbery suffered by then federal deputy Jair Bolsonaro, in 1995. On that occasion, criminals took his pistol.

The senator once again expressed solidarity with journalist Vera Magalhães, who was attacked by the president during the debate. “The Presidency of the Republic is a place of example, respect for freedom of the press and women. Vera represents us,” she said.
