Closed on alert! Biome could lose almost 34% of its water by 2050

The Cerrado could lose 33,9% of its river flows by 2050, if the pace of agricultural exploration remains at current levels. Given the situation, authorities and experts must devote the same attention as they do to the Amazon, since one biome does not exist without the other. The alert for the situation comes from the founder and executive director of Instituto Cerrados, Yuri Botelho Salmona. This Tuesday (22), World Water Day is celebrated, established by the United Nations (UN).💧
