In Carta da Terra, published this week by Earth News, Lourival Sant'Anna talks about her conversation with forestry engineer Mariaat Cenamo, director of New Business at Idesam (Institute for Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon) and CEO of AMAZ, regarding his work in the development, flow and commercialization of products and services in the Amazon. Cenamo also addresses the issue of carbon credits, as it was one of the pioneers in the matter in 2003.
The publication highlights that the large market is opening up to products that maintain Amazon standing, with growing concern about the destruction of nature and the climate changes.
