Which countries are most interested in artificial intelligence, according to the Google Trends?

It is worth noting that, due to theariations in different countries, the list may not be accurate. In Brazil, for example, both “AI” and “IA” are popular in discussions on the topic. The balance refers to the last thirty days. 

The ranking of countries with the greatest interest in AI research in the Google varia from 0 to 100, with 100 being the maximum number of interest. China tops the list, followed by Vietnam and Myanmar. Brazil is in 63rd position, with a research interest of 17.

When we stimulate research for “artificial intelligence”, the results are different. Zimbabwe tops the list, followed by Ethiopia and Pakistan. China is in fourth place, and Brazil falls to 77th.

Growing interest in AI is a global trend, but data from Google Trends show that interest varia depending on the country and even the way the technology is referenced. 

In depth, Brazilians have carried out research on “AI that answers questions”, “AI that generates images” and “free AI image generator”.

Despite being behind many countries in the ranking, Brazil still shows a significant interest in AI and can increasingly benefit from the advantages that the technology offers. However, for now, the term still often remains in the playful field, being remembered in an alarmist way.
