- These models innovate on the previous initiative, Aya 101, which covered 101 languages, but now prioritizes depth in 23 specific languages.
- The Aya 23 significantly outperforms the Aya 101 in several benchmarks, also surpassing open competitors such as Gem and the Mistral do Google.
