“We will very soon launch the city of São Paulo in UPLAND. We are closing a series of public and private partnerships that match the greatness of Sampa. I'm happy to see Cidade do Futuro embrace and open space for web3, as it's an opportunity to democratize access and break the bubble”, said Ney Neto.

Despite the promising announcement, details were not given about the arrival of Latin America's largest city in the metaverse. However, the platform was already responsible for including Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires in the digital environment. Upland also has a partnership with Unicef Brasil through an educational program that aims to spread knowledge about technology to young Brazilians.
