Venezuela is a dictatorship, it's always good to remember

Venezuela is governed by an authoritarian regime, led by Nicolás Maduro. The Judiciary has been subjugated, the press is censored and elections are not clean and reliable. Political opponents of Maduro are persecuted and there are hundreds of accusations against the regime of torture and murder.

Official linked to Chavismo is appointed president of the electoral authority in Venezuela

The US-sanctioned official Elvis Amoroso, who disqualified several opposition leaders, announced that he was appointed this Friday president of the electoral authority that will organize the presidential elections in Venezuela in 2024.

There is no sign that Maduro, in power since 2013 after the death of his predecessor, Hugo Chávez, has any plans to abandon power, regardless of whether or not elections are held.

Countries that give political support to Venezuela, such as Brazil. they are complicit in the crimes against humanity committed by the Maduro dictatorship.
