Road accident leaves at least 34 dead in Algeria

At least 34 people died and 14 were injured this Wednesday (19) in a collision between a bus and a utility vehicle near Tamanrasset, in southern Algeria, the African country's Civil Defense announced.

The bus collided head-on with the other vehicle. Then there was a fire. Many victims were burned to death, according to local press.

According to Civil Protection, the bus was taking passengers between Adrar and Tamanrasset, two cities in the Algerian Sahara.
