Lula chooses Alckmin to coordinate transition team

President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) delegated to his vice president, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), the task of leading the change of government. The choice was made this Tuesday (01). Alckmin will lead a team of 50 people, who will work from the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB) building in Brasília.

The elected vice-president, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), will coordinate the team that will receive information and data from the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) administration.

The decision was announced this afternoon (01) by the president of the PT, Gleise Hoffman, after a meeting between president-elect Lula and Aloizio Mercadante, who prepared his government plan.
