Environmentalists throw paint on the Louis Vuitton Foundation in France

The facade of the Louis Vuitton Foundation, an art museum in Paris, was shot with paint this Monday (1st), according to the environmental organization Extinction Rebellion. Another environmental activist group threw paint on the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, in Place Vendôme.

Extinction Rebellion activists painted the glass facade with “extinguishers” and “paint bombs” made from “small balloons”, an organization spokesperson explained to AFP.

According to the group, the objective is to target the LVMH group, to which Louis Vuitton belongs, which it accuses of “tax optimization”, a practice to pay less taxes.

“In this social context, in which there are French people who give up one meal a day due to inflation, the health of large groups is indecent”, explained the environmentalists' spokesperson.
