This Tuesday (30), Manchester United and Ajax announced the agreement that transfers Antony – striker for the Brazilian national team – to United for 100 million euros. São Paulo, the team that sold the player to Ajax, will receive almost R$100 million for the negotiation. This because, When Antony was sold, the Brazilian team managed to include a clause in the contract obliging the Dutch to pay 20% of the profit from the player's sale.

“Manchester United has reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Antony, pending a medical examination, completion of the terms of the contract with the player and international (administrative) formalities,” the team said in a statement.
Antony's transfer was the most expensive in the Dutch league – it even surpassed the amount Barcelona paid Ajax to sign Frenkie de Jong. The signing comes after Ajax refused Manchester United's proposal three times.
São Paulo sold Antony to Ajax two years ago for 16 million euros – and now they will profit again.
