Bolsonaristas still protest on the country's roads, on the third day in a row

On the third consecutive day, protests by Bolsonarists on the roads reached 167 points, according to a bulletin released by the Federal Highway Police (PRF), this Wednesday morning (2). On the All Souls' Day holiday, there are still occurrences in Acre, Amazonas, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Pernambuco, Paraná, Rondônia, Roraima, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Tocantins. The total number of demonstrations broken up by the corporation reached 563.

In total, there are 116 closures and 51 blockages. Mato Grosso is the state with the highest number of closures (30), followed by Pará (17) and Roraima (15), Minas Gerais (10). The State of Santa Catarina has the highest number of blockages (37).

Country singers Leonardo and Gustavo Lima had to cancel their shows in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, and in Canaã dos Carajás, Pará. The performances would take place this Tuesday (1st). In a statement, Leonardo's production said that the movement was unfeasible due to the stoppages and announced a new date: December 1st.

On Instagram, Gusttavo Lima informed about the cancellation of the show he would perform this Tuesday (1st) in Canaã dos Carajás, a city of 38 thousand inhabitants in Pará. “The decision was taken due to the stoppages that occur on the highways that give access to the city ​​and that prevent arrival at the location in a timely manner to carry out the presentation.” There is no new date set yet.

Rio de Janeiro

Bolsonaro militants participated this Wednesday morning (2) in a coup protest in front of the Eastern Military Command (CML), in the center of Rio de Janeiro. Unsatisfied with the victory at the polls of elected president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), Bolsonaro supporters are calling for military intervention and the annulment of the presidential elections.

The group meets in front of the Duque de Caxias Palace, headquarters of the Armed Forces. Protesters arrived at the scene around 8 am with banners and posters calling for “military intervention” and Brazilian flags. They occupy the square in front of the CML and a strip of Avenida Presidente Vargas, the city's main thoroughfare. The act is monitored by agents of the Municipal Guard and the Military Police.

“We have article 142, but we know that for it to be put into practice it would need to go through Congress. The other side will finish us off. We don't want to become Venezuela. Military help us. All power emanates from the people”, says one of the organizers of the event.
