Brazil promemake you look good at the gymnastics world championship in Liverpool

The Brazilian women's artistic gymnastics team debuts this Sunday (30) at the World Championships - a competition that begins this Saturday (29) at the Liverpool Arena, in England. In last year's edition, the team secured third place on the podium and promeyou perform well now too. Featuring Rebeca Andrade, owner of two Olympic medals, and Olympic finalists Flávia Saraiva and Lorrane Oliveira, Julia Soares, Carolyne Pedro and Christal Bezerra, the team is considered one of the favorites. The men's team debuts on Monday (31).

The Coordinator of the Brazilian Women's Artistic Gymnastics Team, Francisco Porath Neto, outlined the team's objectives for future competitions. “We are in the process of an Olympic cycle, and our main focus will always be 2023”, said the coach, referring to the Antwerp World Cup, where 9 Olympic places will be up for grabs for the teams that fail to qualify in Liverpool.

According to him, the team has a great chance of reaching the finals. “We have evolved a lot in recent years. We learn a lot from our successes and mistakes. The medals we won recently allow all of us to believe more in our possibilities, both us, who are here, and the girl who is starting at the base, in some club in Brazil”.

The first places for the Paris 2024 Olympics will be distributed at the Liverpool World Cup to the medal-winning teams. And the finalist teams qualify for next year's World Cup, in Antwerp, the main pre-Olympic competition.
