Lewandowski faces former club in Champions League 'group of death'

This Thursday (25), the Champions League draw was held in Istanbul.

One of the highlights of the draw was the fate of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, from Barcelona. The player will go head to head with his former club, Bayern Munich, in Group C, the 'group of death', which also has Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzen.

Another reunion will be that of Erling Haaland, now at Manchester City, with Borussia Dortmund, in Group E, which also includes Sevilla and Copenhagen.

The current champion was luckier, Real Madrid, which fell into Group F with RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic.

Already Liverpooll, finalist in the last edition, is in Group A, which has Ajax as the seed, as well as Napoli and Glasgow Rangers.

Another great duel in the first phase of the Champions League will be between Milan and Chelsea, who fell into Group E with RB Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb.

In turn, the Paris Saint-Germain, another favorite for the title, they will face Juventus, Benfica and Maccabi Haifa in Group H.
