Chile: president announces changes after defeat in plebiscite

The president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, was surprised by the result of the plebiscite that rejected a new Constitution, but acknowledged defeat saying that the country's democracy will be more robust.

The defeat in the project for the new Constitution in Chile made President Gabriel Boric announce “immediate adjustments”. Boric's request is to build bridges with the opposition in Congress starting this Monday (5).
