City of Santos will pay tribute to Pelé with drones at New Year’s Eve party

In addition to the classic fireworks display (which this year will last 14 minutes), the city also prepared a drone show to honor the Soccer king. At 23:40 pm, 80 drones will light up the sky over Praia do Gonzaga, with images that recall Pelé's story.

The tribute to Pele will be held immediately after the performance of the hymns of the Santos soccer club – team where the striker played for almost two decades. The songs will be played by the Santos Municipal Symphony Orchestra on a stage also set up at Praia do Gonzaga.
