DC must cancel 'Wonder Woman 3', sequel to 'Aquaman' and 'Superman'

DC Studios is making drastic changes to its structure and programming, according to information from the Hollywood Reporter released this Thursday (8). The future of franchises like Wonder Woman, with Gal Gadot, and Aquaman, with Jason Momoa, is uncertain. As well as the participation of Henry Cavill, who announced his departure from Netflix's The Witcher to focus on his return as Superman.

According to the report, the studio's new leaders, James Gunn and Peter Safran, choose to reformulate and rebuild the company. This consists of finishing the phase of filmmaker Zack Snyder, called the Snyderverse, which selected a series of actors to create the Justice League.

Among the possible cancellations is the third film of Wonder Woman. Other targets of this change could be Jason Momoa, the Aquaman, who is not expected to return to the role of the superhero and Henry Cavill, who recently announced his return to the role of Superman.

A DC has not yet commented on possible cancellations.
