Owner of Havan and seven other businessmen are targets of a PF search and seizure warrant after defending a coup

The Federal Police execute a search and seizure warrant against businessmen who defended a coup d'état during an exchange of messages.

The conversation between the businesspeople was publicized by journalist Guilherme Amado, from the website Metropolis.

Federal Supreme Court Minister Alexandre de Moraes authorized the searches. The addresses of the eight businessmen are spread across Brazil and the searches take place in: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Ceará.

The PF targets:

  • Luciano Hang, from Havan
  • José Isaac Peres, from the Multiplan shopping chain
  • Ivan Wrobel, from Construtora W3
  • José Koury, from Barra World Shopping
  • André Tissot, from Grupo Serra
  • Meyer Nigri, from Tecnisa
  • Marco Aurélio Raimundo, from Mormaii
  • Afrânio Barreira, from the Coco Bambu Group

The STF minister authorized the search and seizure at the permanent residence, vacation home and offices of the owner of Havan. In addition, blocking of business owners' bank accounts and social networks was also authorized.
