Problems with oil
An important oil trade route is at a bottleneck. Tanker traffic jams occur in the Sea of Marmara heading south through the Dardanelles Strait to the Turkish-dominated Mediterranean. The reason: Following the imposition of a price cap on Russian oil, Turkey's oversight has increased as the limit prevents owners of ships carrying Russian oil from accessing insurance and other services from European suppliers unless the oil is sold for $60 a barrel or less.
