12 Brazilian states will have a second round in state elections

In 12 Brazilian states, there will be a dispute for the second round on October 30th. O Curto Tell you who they are and the candidates running.

  1. Alagoas: Paulo Dantas (MDB) and Rodrigo Cunha (União Brasil)
  2. Amazon: Wilson Lima (União Brasil) and Eduardo Braga (MDB)
  3. Bahia: ACM Neto (União Brasil) and Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT
  4. Espírito Santo: Renato Casagrande (PSB) and Manato (PL)
  5. Mato Grosso do Sul: Captain Contar (PRTB) and Eduardo Riedel (PSDB)
  6. Paraíba: João Azevêdo (PSB) and Pedro Cunha Lima (PSDB)
  7. Pernambuco: Marília Arraes (Solidarity) x Danilo Cabral (PSB) x Raquel Lyra (PSDB)
  8. Rio Grande do Sul: Onyx Lorenzoni (PL) and Eduardo Leite (PSDB)
  9. Rondônia: Colonel Marcos Rocha (União Brasil) and Marcos Rogério (PL)
  10. Santa Catarina: Jorginho Mello (PL) and Décio Lima (PT)
  11. São Paulo: Fernando Haddad (PT) and Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans)
  12. Sergipe: Rogério Carvalho (PT) and Fábio (PSD)

Cláudio Castro, from PL, was elected governor of the state of Rio. In Minas Gerais, Zema (Novo) was re-elected in the first round of these elections.
