Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, aged 96. The British monarch was at her holiday residence, Balmoral Castle, in Scotland. The sovereign's reign was the longest in the history of the United Kingdom.

As the decades pass, the plot shows the intrigues, political rivalries and other details of her reign. 'The Crown' has four seasons – and the fifth arrives on the streaming service in November this year.

Released in 2021, 'Spencer' stars Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana. The film addresses the controversial relationship between Lady Di and members of the British royal family. Available on Prime Video and Apple TV+. It is worth remembering that Diana died 25 years ago in a car accident in Paris, France.

Another film that reports on the repercussions of Diana's death is 'The Queen'. The plot shows how Elizabeth II dealt with the tragedy, in addition to exploring her rapprochement with the British population. Actress Helen Mirren plays the monarch in the production. Watch on Prime Video.
