Moraes repeated that there is no room for appeasement, and that he had already addressed the decision that determined the demobilization of the camps in barracks and the removal of the governor of the Federal District Ibaneis Rocha (MDB).

“If appeasement had worked we would not have had the Second World War. The theory and idea of ​​appeasement is either out of cowardice or self-interest. What we have to firmly combat is terrorism. We have to firmly fight anti-democratic people, people who want to carry out a coup, people who want an exceptional regime. It is not possible to talk to these people in a civilized way. These people are not civilized. Just look at what they did at the Palácio do Planalto, at the National Congress and, with much moreaiva and hate, in the Federal Supreme Court,” he said.

When talking about the depredation of public buildings, the minister also defended the role of the STF and the Federal Police.
