With a show of blocking, the women's team beats Italy and is in the final of the World Championship. The Brazilians beat the Italians in the semifinals by 3 sets to 1, in Apeldoorn, in the Netherlands. 13/10/22

Museum of Portuguese Language

In the capital of São Paulo, the exhibition 'Nhe'ẽ Porã: Memory and Transformation', curated by Daiara Tukano, opened at the Portuguese Language Museum.

Archbishop Orlando Brandes prays a mass at the Sanctuary of Aparecida, in the interior of São Paulo, for thousands of faithful on October 12, a public holiday in Brazil in honor of the country's patron saint, Our Lady of Aparecida. The religious man made a series of statements about the country's political situation: “a beloved homeland cannot be an armed homeland”. Without mentioning President Jair Bolsonaro by name, he asked believers to fight the “dragon of hate and lies” and stated “we are either evangelicals or Catholics”.
