Gael and Maria Alice: registrations with the names of influencers' children soar in 2022

According to the National Association of Registrars of Natural Persons (Arpen-Brasil), Maria Alice e Gael were the names that had the greatest growth compared to 2021.

Maria Alice is the name of the influencer's daughter Virginia Fonseca. In total, 24 thousand children were registered with this name in Brazil in 2022. Gael is the name of the youtuber's first child Christian Figueiredo. There were more than 25,2 thousand records.

According to Arpen-Brazil, the most registered name in Brazil in 2022 is still biblical: Miguel remains in the lead for the second year in a row. In total, 26,9 thousand babies received this name from their parents.
