Judge orders Bolsonaro popular jury who killed PT member in Foz do Iguaçu

Judge Gustavo Germano Francisco Arguello, from the 3rd Criminal Court of Foz do Iguaçu, signs the pronouncement decision – the one that accepts the accusation to forward the case to the Jury Court

The complaint for double homicide was filed by the Public Ministry of Paraná. The agency states that the crime was motivated by “antagonistic party political preferences”, which was considered a “disgusting motive”. Guaranho faces up to 30 years in prison.

The crime took place during the PT member's 50th birthday party at a club in Foz do Iguaçu. The criminal police officer invaded the celebration and shot the guard dead in front of family and guests. The birthday had a PT theme and, according to the local security guard, Guaranho shouted “this is Bolsonaro” before shooting.
