New York jury rejects sexual assault charges against Kevin Spacey

A jury rejected this Thursday (20) actor Anthony Rapp's civil action against Kevin Spacey, protagonist of the series House of Cards. He was accused of an episode of sexual assault that occurred 36 years ago.

At the time, Rapp was 14 years old. In the action, he asked for compensation of US$40 million – around R$208 million at current prices.

The jury concluded, in record time, that Rapp did not present “sufficient evidence” that Kevin Spacey would have touched “a sexual or intimate part of her body”, according to the document presented by Judge Lewis Kaplan, who closed the case.
