Women's Volleyball Nations League 2023: Team ends first week with three wins 

The Women's Volleyball Nations League 2023 runs until July 16, in different venues, bringing together the 16 best teams in the world, in search of one of the sport's main titles.

The Brazilian women's team finished the first stage of the Volleyball Nations League with victory. Last Sunday (04), Brazil beat Croatia by 3 sets to 0 (26/24 and 25/18 and 25/8), in Nagoya, Japan.

The players returned to Brazil where the team will compete in the second week of the Nations League starting on June 14th, in Brasília. 

VNL 2023 there will be 16 teams per gender, ranked according to the International Volleyball Federation list. In the first phase, which took place from May 30th to July 2nd, each team played 12 matches, four per week, in different venues.

The eight best teams advance to the final knockout stage, which begins with the quarterfinal stage. You United States, hosts of the final phase, are guaranteed a place in the knockout stages, which takes place between July 12th and 16th.
