Lula breaks audience record on Flow podcast, with more than 1 million viewers

PT's candidate for President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, broke the record for Flow Podcast viewers by surpassing 1 million viewers in the most watched live interview on the YouTube channel. The call made by supporters on social media yielded results, and Lula easily beat the mark of his opponent, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who reached 550 thousand viewers when he was on the program. In the relaxed conversation, the PT member spoke for the first time about the case of the Venezuelan women mentioned by Bolsonaro: "he behaved like a pedophile."

In just over 20 minutes of the program, the live interview with Lula on flow podcast surpassed the mark of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), opponent in the electoral race: around 19:25 pm, the PT member had 645 thousand simultaneous internet users. Bolsonaro reached 550 thousand at the peak of the audience.

At 20pm, the podcast with Lula reached 1 million viewers, celebrated on social media by famous supporters and influencers, such as André Janones – today the biggest pro-Lula articulator on social media – and Felipe Neto:

Right at the beginning of the chat with Igor Coelho, Lula was questionabout the controversy involving Jair Bolsonaro and Venezuelan girls. Lula said that Bolsonaro had “pedophilic behavior”, and also associated the episode with another video circulating on the internet, in which the president says that it is necessary to lie.

On Saturday, a video of Jair Bolsonaro went viral on the internet. In it, the president narrates that, during a motorcycle ride near Brasília, he met three or four “pretty little girls, 14, 15 years old” and that “it created a mood”. Afterwards, the president says that the girls were prostituting themselves. The speeches had a bad impact and Bolsonaro had to make a video apologizing to the Venezuelan family.

In Flow, Lula constantly called his opponent “Bozo”, a nickname used by critics of the president on social media.

In one of the most commented excerpts on the networks, Lula talks about the player Neymar's support for Bolsonaro: “Neymar has the right to choose whoever he wants as president. I think he is afraid that if I win the election, I will find out that Bolsonaro forgave his income tax debt,” he poked.

Fake News, spending caps and Labor Reform were some of the topics covered in the podcast. Lula also spoke about the composition of the National Congress in the next legislature and about having to deal – if elected – with Bolsonarist politicians such as Damares Alves (Republicans):

“See Damares’ speech the other day. It's something so absurd that, in my head, the idea that someone can say something like that doesn't go through... the number of people who entered Congress in the last four years was much worse. Fake news is a general release for the guy who is no good, for the liar. (…) These people were elected; she will also face difficulties in office,” said Lula.

Lula was more engaged when talking about the environment and the relationship with agribusiness: “you have to produce more without deforesting”, he stated. “Brazil owns the Amazon. The territory is our sovereignty, but we can share scientific knowledge with the entire world,” she said.

The speeches about the biome were highlighted on the networks by environmental defenders:
