Lula announces the first five ministers of the new government

This Friday (9), president-elect Lula announced the names of the first ministers of his government. There have been five announced so far: Fernando Haddad, Rui Costa, José Múcio, Flávio Dino and Mauro Vieira. Check with the Curto!

Ministers announced by Lula this Friday:

  • O finance Minister will Fernando Haddad (he was Minister of Education from 2005 to 2012, responsible for creating Prouni);
  • A Civil House will be headed by Rui Costa (twice governor of Bahia, the most voted in the state's history; expanded programs such as Luz Para Todos and Minha Casa Minha Vida for the people of Bahia);
  • O Ministry of Defense will Jose Mucio (he was Minister of Institutional Relations from 2007 to 2009 and Minister of the Federal Audit Court from 2009 to 2021);
  • Flavio Dino will Minister of Justice (he was governor of Maranhão, federal judge, president of Embratur, professor at UFMA and in the last elections he was elected senator by the people of Maranhão);
  • O Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be commanded by Mauro Vieira (he was ambassador to Argentina and the United States, chancellor of the federal government in 2015 and is ambassador to Croatia).
