Lula in Jornal Nacional: how the former president's speeches resonated

Presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) was the third candidate to be interviewed by Jornal Nacional. The web continued to reflect the former president's performance this Friday (26), which caused greater interaction on the networks than his opponent, Jair Bolsonaro, according to a survey by Quaest.

Lula's interview impacted around 15 million users on social media, according to data from Quaest, which considered posts made during the 40 minutes of its broadcast. The audience was also above average, with around 30 points. Interest in 'Lula' was three times greater than in 'Bolsonaro' last Thursday (25), according to the Google Trends.

Among the politicians who condemned the PT candidate's speeches on their networks are President Bolsonaro's children and the former judge of Operation Lava Jato Sergio Moro, which launched a series of posts on Twitter criticizing Lula.

Quaest and the balance of repercussions

According to Quaest research, Lula's reach on the networks was greater than that obtained by Jair Bolsonaro (9 million), his main competitor, as shown by the latest voting intention surveys. Throughout the interview with the former president, the data identified that 52% of publications that mentioned Lula in a positive way and 48% contained negative mentions. Lula's digital impact also surpassed the participation of Ciro Gomes (PDT) in the program, which impacted 2 million users. (The globe)
