Queen Elizabeth II's doctors are "concerned" about the monarch's health, according to palace sources interviewed by the AFP agency.

The queen has postponed commitments and is under medical supervision, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace this Thursday (8). The queen's children, Prince Charles, heir to the throne, Andrew, Anne and Edward, as well as her grandson, William, traveled this Thursday to Balmoral Palace, Scotland, to be close to her. Duchesses Catherine, William's wife, and Camilla, married to Charles, also went to the castle.

Duke Harry and Duchess Meghan were due to attend an awards ceremony this afternoon, and traveled to meet the Queen.

“The whole country is deeply concerned,” declared British Prime Minister Lis Truss. “My thoughts are with her and her family at this time.”

British opposition leader Keir Starmer said he was “extremely concerned” about the health of Queen Elizabeth II.
