The president of the TSE told the representatives that platforms take time to remove content related to fake news, which ends up going viral and being quickly spread across very popular communication platforms such as WhatsApp.

Alexandre de Moraes also pushed for YouTube, TikTok and Kwai to not take more than 4 to 5 hours to remove videos when reported by the electoral court.

According to a report in the Folha de São Paulo newspaper, WhatsApp reportedly stated that the incidence of mass shootings has decreased in this election. YouTube also agreed to cooperate by showing itself more available to remove videos from their original platforms as quickly as possible to prevent viralization.
