In the section questionDuring his preaching, Valadão talks about “Christian values” and condemns same-sex marriage. The service was held on the church campus in Orlando, United States.

“This door [homoaffective marriage] was opened when we treated as normal what the Bible already condemns. So now it's time to take the ropes back by saying no, no, no. You can stop, reset. And God says: I can't do it anymore. I already put that rainbow in there. If I could, I would kill everyone and start all over again. But, promeyou to me even if I can't, so it's with you. Let's go up. I and my house will serve the Lord,” he stated.

According to the MPF, after investigating the facts, the body will adopt the appropriate measures.

In a video published on his social networks after the statements, André Valadão said he was in his church and “preaching the word of God”.

According to him, his speeches are in the context of the biblical text from the book of Genesis, which mentions the destruction of humanity in the flood. When citing the word reset, Valadão stated that he was referring to “taking humanity back to God”.

“When I say we repair, I don’t say we kill. I'm not saying we annihilate people. What I say is that it is up to us to take man, the human being, to the principle that is God's will. It is up to us, genuine Christians, to raise our voices and make clear what God’s will is,” he concluded.
