'She-Hulk' or Fiona? Series arrives on Disney+ after wave of memes

The Marvel catalog has just gained a new series: 'She-Hulk' arrived on Disney+ this Thursday, August 18th. The production brings a new superheroine to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), in a sequence of 9 episodes released weekly.

'She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes' follows the story of lawyer Jennifer Walters, played by Tatiana Maslany ('Orphan Black'). Walters is related to Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), the Hulk. In production, she needs to reconcile her career in law with the super powers she possesses.

🎬 'She-Hulk' and a wave of memes

When Disney+ released the first images of 'She-Hulk', the subject became a joke on social media. Users compared the protagonist Walters with Fiona, a character from 'Shrek'. The criticisms were mainly directed at the so-called computer-generated imagery (CGI). According to internet users, the production's computer graphics and special effects left something to be desired – which was corrected by Marvel.
