According to news agencies Tasnim and Mehr, dozens of girls ended up in hospitals in the provinces of Hamedan (west), Zanjan and East Azerbaijan (northwest), Fars (south) and Alborz (north).

The UN and powers such as Germany have demanded explanations for the series of attacks on girls' schools that have occurred since the last wave of protests by women against Iran's disciplinary police – which arrest and attack those who do not wear the veil properly.
Already are hundreds of cases of gas poisoning recorded in the last three months in various establishments, not just schools, mainly in the holy city of Qom.

What measures has the government taken?
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi ordered on Friday (03) the Ministries of Interior and Intelligence to “stop the enemy’s conspiracy, which intends to create fear and despair among the population”. The leader did not, however, indicate the identity of this “enemy”.
The government announced an investigation into the origin of the poisoning, but no arrests have been made so far.
