Death toll from earthquake in Türkiye and Syria exceeds 21.700

Emergency teams continued this Friday with the search for survivors among the rubble caused by the earthquake that affected Syria and Turkey on Monday, one of the most devastating in decades in the region, with a provisional death toll of 21.700.

Humanitarian aid began to arrive Turkey. Germany announced the sending of 90 tons of material by plane. At the same time, access to Síria, which is in civil war and with the regime targeted by sanctions from the international community, is much more complicated.
