UN Women and Football Museum partner to cover the World Cup

UN Women, a United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality, and the Football Museum have agreed a partnership to promote and give visibility to the Women's Football World Cup, which takes place starting this Thursday (20) in Australia and in New Zealand.

Through the partnership, the content that will be posted on the two institutions' social networks will present curiosities, stories and information about the World Cup and the athletes. These updates can be checked through the profiles @Football Museum e @onumulheresbr.

Currently, the Football Museum, located in the capital of São Paulo, is presenting an exhibition that recalls the history of the women's cups and women's fight for space in the most popular sport on the planet. Called Queen of Hearts, the exhibition runs until August 27th.

The Brazilian team, which is seeking its first title, is in group F of the competition alongside France, Jamaica and Panama. Brazil's first game takes place next Monday (24), starting at 8 am, against Panama. The second match is against France, on July 29th, at 7 am. The third opponent is the Jamaican team, a match scheduled for August 2nd, also at 7 am.
