Brazil 2002 – Behind the Scenes of Penta

It's already World Cup! The documentary of Netflix premieres on the 4th and shows behind the scenes of the Brazilian team that won the 2002 World Cup, with never-before-seen images and interviews with the players.

The Bear

Do you like gastronomy? So this series is a great choice! Over the course of eight episodes, we learn the story of Carmen Berzatto, a chef who inherits a restaurant and tries to transform the place into a big business. Watch from October 5th on Disney +.

In an election climate, the Prime Video launches a new Brazilian comedy on October 7th with Clarice Falcão as the protagonist playing a digital influencer. The series has seven episodes and takes place in Rio de Janeiro, but in a dystopian future. 

The Midnight Club

Also on October 7th, horror fans can watch the new Netflix series. In a hospital for young people with terminal illnesses, eight patients meet every night to tell stories and make a pact: the next person to die will send a signal from beyond. The production is based on a book of the same name by Christopher Pike, published in 1994, and other works by the author.

Have you ever imagined bringing together the biggest players with the biggest funk players in the country? Funkbol is a series from Paramount + that brings together these national passions. The production premieres on October 10th.

The little crazy boy

In celebration of Children's Day, Netflix launches its first Brazilian animation: O Menino Maluquinho, based on the work of Ziraldo. Watch from October 12th.

The film starring Caio Castro premieres on Netflix on October 13th. In the romantic comedy, the actor plays a bachelor who needs to give up his principles to avoid being left out of his mother's will.

Shantaram

Based on the international best-selling novel by Gregory David Roberts, the film follows a fugitive who wants to hide in the vibrant and chaotic Mumbai of the 80s. After falling in love with an enigmatic woman, he must choose between freedom or love and problems that accompany it. Watch on Apple TV + on October 14st.

Peripherals

Moving towards the end of the month, on the 21st, Periféricos debuts on Prime Video. The series stars Chloe Grace Moretz and mixes science fiction and metaverse.

after the universe

New Brazilian film? We have! Giulia Be and Henry Zaga star in After the Universe, which premieres on October 27th on Netflix. The romantic drama film follows pianist Nina, who must overcome the challenges of dealing with the autoimmune disease lupus. She then approaches Gabriel – one of the doctors on the team who treats her.
