Palmeiras agrees Endrick's move to Real Madrid: biggest deal in Brazilian football

Palmeiras announced this Thursday (15) that it has agreed to sell young 16-year-old striker Endrick to Real Madrid for 2024. According to Palmeiras' statement, the terms and values ​​of the operation are confidential, however, the Brazilian sports media talks about approximately R$400 million.

Endrick will thus follow in the footsteps of Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo, young strikers recruited as minors by Real Madrid in astronomical transactions and who joined the Spanish club after turning 18, in accordance with FIFA's international signing rules.

Negotiation figures

Estadão reported that the value of the negotiation could exceed 72 million euros (R$408,6 million at current prices). Of the amount, 12 million are related to taxes which will be paid by the Spanish.

If the value is confirmed, it will be the highest value negotiated in Brazilian football.

Who is Endrick?

Born in Taguatinga, on the outskirts of Brasília, Endrick joined Palmeiras' youth teams at the age of 10.

He signed his first professional contract when he turned 16, in July this year, and only played two months with the first team, having made his debut in October.

In seven games in the Brazilian Championship, he scored three goals and made one assist, helping 'Verdão' win the title.
