São Paulo LGBT+ Pride Parade: 27th edition will feature accessibility

In search of inclusion and accessibility, the Municipal Secretariat for Persons with Disabilities (SMPED) participates in the 27th edition of the São Paulo LGBT+ Pride Parade. The action will take people with disabilities and their companions to the event location, using Atende+ transport, a service aimed at people with autism, deafblindness, physical disabilities and reduced mobility.

A group of people with disabilities will open the event with a rainbow banner (symbol of the cause), before the Opening Trio, just as happened in the last edition. The site will have support from firefighters and security guards throughout the surrounding area.

In addition to participating in the opening, people with disabilities will also be able to attend the event in a reserved area, located next to the Méqui 1000 restaurant, which will provide Libras interpreters and support teams.

The 27th LGBT+ Pride Parade takes place this Sunday, June 11, on Avenida Paulista. The party starts at 10am and will last until 18pm.
